Share

We are summing up and sharing our highlights of the year.

The key factor of the GlobalNet/DATAIX network expansion has been the modernization of the backbone infrastructure. Its new segment Helsinki-Stockholm-Hamburg-Amsterdam-Frankfurt-Hamburg-Stockholm-Helsinki has been deployed measuring over 2000 km in length with 500G per wavelength.

During the whole year, there has been an increase of Autonomous Systems registered in DATAIX - 550 ASNs and still counting. According to the international IXP Data Base, the DATAIX rating is holding the 7th place by active ASNs among the traffic exchange points.

There also has been an increase in Points of Presence from 48 to 59. You can now get connected to GlobalNet/DATAIX in such countries as Bulgaria, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

Finally, there was a DATAIX Network Peak Load of 5,6 Tbps. This result has been evident for the last two years demonstrating a 17% increase year by year. Overall DATAIX port capacity by the end of last year reached 169,7 Tbps. The number of prefixes of iPv4 in the network comes to 132776 now and the number of iPv6 has reached 46373.
